Un-fading your fender flares using a heat gun


This is a simple, yet effective fix for those of us TJ owners that have flares on our Jeeps that have faded into an ugly, chalky white mess. Take a standard heat gun and with it on the high setting, hold it ¼ to ½ inch away from the flare. Take your time and try to avoid touching the end of the heat gun to the flare as it will melt it and leave an ugly impression. Check it out:
